Sr. Adriana Juarez
Navarrete’s message titled “Welcome to the new year!” starts on page 2. In the middle is a photo new children
showing expression of joy and anxiety, and on the top right is a photo of Sr.
Adriana Juarez Navarrete regional
superior. The government is now pushing a campaign called “High quality free
education”
from the government Program”. But Sr. Adriana says that School operations is
still very difficult because there is no financial support with only words. She
knows that there will be many things to overcome, but has high hopes and wishes
this campaign will come true someday.
On pages 3-4 is a
message from Sr. Shirahata “Hello members of Walking Together”. The photo on
the left middle is Sr. Shirahata taking part in summer school with middle
school students. In this message, she talks also touches on things such as the
typhoon disaster, new school year, new priest introduction, volunteer from
Germany, Sr. Shirahata’s health status.
From the second
half of page 4 and onto page 5, is the “Lunsar visit report” from Tsuyoshi
Fujii, Research Professor of Meiji University. There is a photo of middle
school children learning dance from a volunteer from Italy. On the top left of
page 5. He made his visit August 14th, 2019.
Previously, school lunch was provided to
middle school, but now it is only for kindergarten and elementary school
lunches due to high prices. That made me
realize the need for further assistance. and grade school. Lunch is where students get their
energy and Professor Fujii felt a strong need for more support. He also talks
about, among 6 middle schools in Lunsar, our school has the highest level so
the number of students exceeds 1,000 and 60-70 students are accepted in the
dormitory. Also touches on how summer school is.

From the second
half of page 6 to page 7 is “Participating in activities of “Walking
Together”””, a report from Ms.Hiroko Goto, a headquarter staff. She talks about
her feelings towards the activities and worries about the future of “Walking
Together”. On the bottom right on page 6 is photo of participants of the
headquarter meeting.
On page 7 is
information from headquarters.
Page 8 is a photo
report from Professor Fujii. 3 photos of summer school, 1 of children enjoying
outdoor activities with volunteers from Italy, 1 of parents lining up to get
their children enrolled in school.
