to the first memorial anniversary of Sr. Leticia Negishi.
The
strength of their gratitude to Sr. Leticia Negishi is touched me deeply.

11th November 2014.
Dear all,
On behalf of the old girls of the
Nobel institution, Maria Ines Vocation Institute Lunsar Sierra Leone I (Sylvia)
wants to sympathize with the lost of our dearest friend, Religious Sister and
Principal of this noble institution. We miss her, we love her but God loves her
the most. May her soul rest in peace Amen.
Sr. Leticia has done
very great in the lives of students and Sierra Leone as a whole may God rewards
her abundantly. During her stay in
Lunsar Sierra Leone, by the help of many supporters in Japan, she has inspired
many students to study by giving scholarships and other help that we will never
forget in life.
Today, many of us have benefit greatly
through her tremendous help. We now say
thanks be to God as most of us are working and others are still studying at
different Universities and prove it well.
We missed her, we love
her but God loves her the most. We say
sorry to the family, friends, relatives and others who help Sister Negishi. I pray that God will receive her
in His holy Kingdom as we will meet her one day. Lie down Sr. Leticia and have your resting
peace.
On the other hand, I want to let you know how
our country Sierra Leone has faced another war. What I mean by war is that, we
have a very dangerous disease called EBOLA, which has claimed the lives of many
people in the country. It is a disease got through body contact. It can kill in
a very short time.
But I Thank God I am
still alive thought I lost some relatives and friend. We are asking for your supportive prayers to
our country, so that this disease will finish in a very short time in this our
beloved country Sierra Leone.
Once more I say sorry to the Negeshi family in
Japan. I pray that our Sr. is now in the hands of God Alimght.
Rest in peace Sister
till we meet again.
Sylvia Conteh.

Sr. Leticia Negishi, I owe my Life to you!
Dear all,
First of all I want to introduce how I come in contact with Sr. Leticia
Negeshi. I (Sylvia) was a former student
of the Our Lady of Guadalupe Secondary Secondary School Lunsar a school mainly
for girls. After my sixth class in the secondary school I sat my West Africa
Secondary School Certificate Examination (WASSCE). I sat to this national exam
but unfortunately, my l result was not too good. I decided to repeat the class
but my elder brother who was paying my fees refused to pay this time because I
failed.
One day I was walking on the street,
where I met a teacher of the Maria Ines Vocational Centre Lunsar a centre where
Sr. Leticia was headed and advised me to go to this institution. The next day,
I met Sr. Negishi and explained everything to her that I wanted to attended the
institution but I have no one to pay my fees. She asked if I have all my
secondary school certificates and results I said yes. The next day I came with
all this documents and sat to an entrance exams (Interview) of which I was the
best girl in that exams.
I started attending the institute and
since then Sr.Negishi was paying my school fees and all other school charges. I
was in the Institution and am greatly impressing her on my school performance.
I was in the institution for three year of all these three years I was the most
brilliant girl in the institution. Sr. Negishi grew
to have more interest on me. She always called me in her office to advice me on
good things. I took her advice and today I can be proud of her relentless help
towards me.
After my final year in the Maria Ines
Vocational Institute, I got the best result and she sent me to study at the
Northern Polytechnic Makeni College- Makeni Campus. I was there for two year
where I gain a Diploma certificate in Business Administration. On my
completion, I got a job at St. John of God Catholic Hospital Mabesseneh Lunsar,
Sierra Leone but with other family difficulties am facing in the work place,
after finishing contract with them, I decided to stop work with them and find
another job. With the great help of God, I was lucky to get another job better
than the one before.
Sr. Negishi went back to Japan with the
hope of coming back to Sierra Leone Lunsar in particular. It was very pathetic
for me when I heard that our beloved sister, Sr. Negishi has passed away. I
could not imagine how I felt that day. I love her so much and like to visit her
almost every day in the office where I and she discussed lot of issues.
Sr. Negishi has greatly done something
in my life and the lives of others. We missed her, we love her but God loves
her the most. We say sorry to the
family, friends, relatives and others. We pray that God will receive her in His
holy Kingdom as we will meet her one day.
Lie down Sr. Leticia and have your resting peace.
May her soul and the souls of the
faithfulls rest in perfect peace amen.
Thanks
Sylvia
